Carolyn Batz McGee

Carolyn Batz McGee is an associate in the firm's Pittsburgh office.  The majority of her current caseload involves defending mid-size and large companies against claims of strict liability, implied and express warranty, negligence, and breach of contract.  She also assists with the defense of one of the country's top five largest homebuilders against various state and federal claims.

Carolyn Batz McGee is an associate in the firm's Pittsburgh office.  The majority of her current caseload involves defending mid-size and large companies against claims of strict liability, implied and express warranty, negligence, and breach of contract.  She also assists with the defense of one of the country's top five largest homebuilders against various state and federal claims.

Ms. McGee is a member of the Allegheny County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, as well as the PBA's Commission on Women in the Profession and the Women's Bar Association.

She is admitted to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Court of  Appeals for the Third Circuit.  Her intimate knowledge and appreciation of the federal court system developed throughout her federal clerkship for the Honorable Nora Barry Fischer following law school and has continued to grow through her practice.  Ms. McGee also has extensive experience in the trial courts throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 

Ms. McGee received her B.A., cum laude, in Economics and Business Administration from Saint Mary's College in 2005 and her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 2008.
