Frank C. Botta

Frank C. Botta is Of Counsel in the firm's Pittsburgh office.  He focuses his practice in the areas of litigation, labor and employment, transportation law, insurance defense, arbitrations and mediations.  His practice also includes truck accident litigation, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, unfair labor practice, union election campaigns, collective bargaining, grievances and commercial and corporate litigation in both federal and state courts.  Mr. Botta is a certified arbitrator and mediator.  He also practices sports law and has been certified by the Major League Baseball Players Association.

Frank C. A transportation industry veteran, Mr. Botta previously served as in-house counsel at Caliber Systems, Inc. (formerly known as Roadway Services, Inc. and RPS, Inc.).  He has also served as Vice President and General Counsel for the largest Northeast seafood wholesaler with over 400 employees.

Mr. Botta has received the highest AV® Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell.  He is the current (2017-2018) President of the Transportation Lawyers Association and was the recipient of its 2008 Distinguished Service Award.  He is also a member of the ABA (Litigation Section; Labor and Employment Section; Former co-chair, ADR Section),  Pennsylvania and  Allegheny County Bar Associations.

Mr. Botta is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and Ohio, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Western, Middle and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Mr. Botta earned his J.D. from Temple University School of Law.
