Patricia W. Holden is a partner in the firm’s Mt. Laurel office.  She currently focuses her practice in the areas of insurance coverage, insurance defense, professional liability, fraud and bad faith litigation.

Over the past 25 years, Ms. Holden has had a varied insurance defense litigation practice, with substantial experience in personal and commercial automobile, including Rideshare/Transportation Network Companies (TNC) claims and coverage issues, product liability, complex general & premises liability, medical professional liability and toxic tort matters, educational work, employment & discrimination law, Title VII and non-employment work involving Title VII, Title IX matters, as well as first party benefit claims and subrogation. She regularly provides national insurance carrier clients with opinions on coverage matters in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.  For those disputes that move into litigation, she handles declaratory judgment actions, trial and appellate causes.

Ms. Holden is a member of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance and the New Jersey Defense Association.

She is licensed to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the District of New Jersey and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the Second and Third Circuits, and the U.S. Supreme Court.  She is also qualified as a New Jersey Rule 1:40 Mediator.

Ms. Holden received her B.S., with Honors, in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from  Mt. St. Mary's University in 1985, and was a member of the Beta Beta Beta Honor Society.  She received her J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law – Camden, New Jersey in 1988.  While attending law school, she worked in the Employee Licensing section of the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, investigating the backgrounds and license applications of individuals seeking employment in the casino industry.  Ms. Holden began her legal career as the judicial clerk to the Honorable J. Gilbert Van Sciver in the New Jersey Superior Court, Law Division in Burlington County.

She lives with her family in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey.
