Alexander T. Poorman is an associate in the firm’s Lancaster office. He concentrates his practice in workers’ compensation defense, employment law and business law matters.
Prior to joining Cipriani & Werner, Mr. Poorman represented clients in civil, commercial and real estate litigation; education law; and insurance defense litigation including personal injury, auto accident and property loss cases.
He is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Poorman received his B.A. in History from Lebanon Valley College in 2007. Prior to attending law school, he worked as a secondary-level social studies and alternative education teacher in Lebanon, Lancaster, and York counties. In 2015, Mr. Poorman earned his Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law. While at Duquesne, he was a member of the award-winning Trial Advocacy Program and competed and placed in nationally-recognized Trial Advocacy competitions.
