Charles F. McElwee is a partner in the firm’s Harrisburg office.  With over 30 years of litigation experience, he concentrates his practice in workers’ compensation and employment and labor law.

Charles F. McElwee is a partner in the firm’s Harrisburg office.  With over 30 years of litigation experience, he concentrates his practice in workers’ compensation and employment and labor law.

Mr. McElwee counsels insurance carriers and self-insured entities on workers’ compensation matters including the development and implementation of risk management procedures.  He has extensive experience litigating workers’ compensation matters before the Appeal Board, Commonwealth Court and Superior Court, and is a frequent author and lecturer on a variety of topics and issues involving the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Act.

He is admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar, as well as the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

Mr. McElwee is a member of the Workers’ Compensation Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Dauphin County Bar Association.  He is also a former Faculty Member of the Insurance Society of Philadelphia and a member of the Northeast Pennsylvania Manufacturers and Employers Association.

He received his B.A., with honors, from the University of Scranton and his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law.
