Caitlin E. Lawlor is a partner in the firm’s Philadelphia office.  She concentrates her practice in cyber security and data privacy matters.  Ms. Lawlor guides clients through all aspects of responding to a cybersecurity or data privacy incident.

As a member of the Cyber team, Ms. Lawlor helps clients of all sizes and across all industry sectors respond quickly and effectively to cybersecurity and data privacy events.  As part of the incident response, Ms. Lawlor works with other experts, such as forensic, remediation, and public relations specialists, to formulate a coordinated approach.  Ms. Lawlor also ensures that clients comply with all individual and/or regulatory reporting obligations that may arise under state law, federal law, or contract from the event.  Additionally, Ms. Lawlor assists clients in liaising with law enforcement.

Ms. Lawlor is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.

She received her B.A. in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in 2016 and her J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law in 2019.  During law school, she also worked as a summer law clerk in Cipriani & Werner’s Philadelphia office and was a legal intern for The Pennsylvania Innocence Project.

In addition to her law practice, Ms. Lawlor is passionate about animal rescue and welfare, and volunteers at a local animal rescue.  She is also an avid Philadelphia sports fan and enjoys spending her free time with family and friends.
