Charles Palmer is an associate in the firm’s Mt. Laurel office. He focuses his practice on representing employers, insurance carriers and third-party administrators in all facets of workers’ compensation matters.
He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. Prior to joining C&W, Mr. Palmer worked as a workers’ compensation staff attorney for one of New Jersey’s largest insurance carriers where he handled all aspects of workers’ compensation litigation. He also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Brian C. White in Ocean County Superior Court in Toms River, New Jersey.
Mr. Palmer earned his bachelor’s degree in political science, magna cum laude, from Rider University in 2020, where he also completed a certificate in leadership and received the President’s Award, the school’s highest honor. He subsequently received his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2023, where he was the first student in the institution’s history to receive both the Brother Raymond Fitz Social Justice Award and the Dayton Law Leadership Award. Additionally, Mr. Palmer earned the CALI Award for achieving the highest grade in Interviewing, Counseling, and Negotiations. During law school, Mr. Palmer served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Peter B. Silvain, Jr. in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and was elected 3L Student Bar Association Class President.
In addition to his legal practice, Charles teaches Civil Liberties and Constitutional Law as a professor at Rider University. When he is not practicing law, Charles enjoys traveling and actively participating in community outreach initiatives.
