Deborah A. Beck is a partner in the firm’s Lancaster office. For over 25 years, she has focused her practice exclusively on representing employers, insurance companies and third-party administrators in workers' compensation matters.
Ms. Beck is certified as a specialist in the practice of workers' compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Workers' Compensation Law Section. She advises employers and insurance carriers in all areas of risk exposure and represents clients in litigation before the Pennsylvania Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, as well as the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board, Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania and Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Ms. Beck is an active member of the Workers’ Compensation Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, serving as Treasurer for 2023-2024 and member of the Workers’ Compensation Certification Committee and Defense Representative of the Unpublished Opinions Committee.
Ms. Beck received her B.A. from Gannon University in 1990 and her J.D., cum laude, from Duquesne University School of Law in 1996 where she was a member of Duquesne Law Review.
