James R. Hilmoe is an associate in the firm’s Metropolitan New York (Woodbridge) office.  He concentrates his practice in representing employers, insurance companies and third-party administrators in all aspects of workers’ compensation matters in New York.

Prior to joining Cipriani & Werner, Mr. Hilmoe represented injured workers at a New York disability law firm before changing his focus to defending employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation matters.

Mr. Hilmoe received his B.A. from Humboldt State University in 2011 and his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in 2019, where he was a member of the Admiralty Practicum and the Criminal Law Society.
