Mr. Carvelli is a results-driven strategist, litigator, and case manager with over 20 years of combined claims and legal experience, all in the defense of New Jersey & New York workers' compensation cases. In 2003, he was hired as a claims professional by one of the largest and premier insurance carriers in New Jersey. In this capacity, Mr. Carvelli handled solely New Jersey workers’ compensation claims. During his tenure in the claims industry, he obtained invaluable experience in managing all facets of New Jersey workers’ compensation matters, from reporting and pre-litigation investigation through to decision.
Mr. Carvelli brought his keen insight and expertise to Cipriani & Werner in 2008, initially as a law clerk and associate, before being elevated to partner status in 2014.
Mr. Carvelli is a well-respected attorney with a successful track record in the court system, and is equally capable of attending to his clients' needs in evaluating and managing global exposure. He uses his extensive knowledge of employment law in concert with creative defense strategies and negotiation in order to minimize the risk of his corporate clients, as well as their insurance companies and third-party claim administrators.
Mr. Carvelli is licensed to practice in New Jersey and New York.
He received his B.S. in Sports Management from East Stroudsburg University in 1999 and his J.D., as a night student, from Widener University School of Law in 2009.
