John (Jack) Dunn is an associate in the firm’s Philadelphia office and a member of the Cybersecurity Breach & Litigation team.  Mr. Dunn assists clients with the challenges that arise from cyber-related incidents including planning the response to a breach and working with other experts to formulate a coordinated approach.  He also ensures that clients comply with all individual and/or regulatory reporting obligations that may arise under state law, federal law, or contract from the event.

Prior to joining C&W, Mr. Dunn served as Cyber Claims Counsel for an insurance carrier where he coordinated and supported incident responses between insureds, breach counsel, and forensic vendors for ransomware matters, social engineering frauds, business email compromises, and third-party data breaches.  He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US).  

Mr. Dunn is admitted to practice in New York, Ohio and Illinois.

He received his B.A. from SUNY Cortland in 2014 and his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2018.  During the summer of 2016, Mr. Dunn clerked for Judge Geoffrey D. Wright of the Supreme Court of Civil Claims – New York, NY.
