Julie Siebert-Johnson is a partner in the firm’s Cybersecurity Breach & Litigation practice group in our Philadelphia office.  She is also Head of Training and Development for the firm’s growing Cyber practice.

Ms. Siebert-Johnson has extensive experience in counseling clients through all phases of investigating and responding to data privacy incidents, including directing forensic investigations and providing legal advice to ensure legal compliance.  She also has substantial experience mentoring and training attorneys by educating and fostering an understanding of the legal aspects of cyber incident response.

Prior to joining Cipriani & Werner, Ms. Siebert-Johnson spent five years, most recently as a senior partner, at a boutique cybersecurity and data privacy firm where she counseled clients of various sizes across all industry sectors in every facet of data privacy.  Ms. Siebert-Johnson worked alongside her clients, directing the investigation and response of incidents, assessing notification obligations and cybersecurity compliance, and responding to regulatory inquiries from state and federal authorities.  Additionally, Ms. Siebert-Johnson worked with clients to prepare policies and procedures in anticipation of a data privacy incident, and to test such materials in simulated cybersecurity events to further prepare proactively.  Prior to concentrating her practice in cyber security, Ms. Siebert-Johnson spent the first part of her career assisting clients with complex securities and consumer class action litigation, primarily focusing on retirement securities.

Ms. Siebert-Johnson is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

She received her B.A., cum laude, from University of Pennsylvania in 2003 and her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 2008.
