Justin A. Rick is an associate in the firm’s Philadelphia office.  He concentrates his practice in data privacy and cybersecurity law.

As a member of the Cyber team, Mr. Rick helps clients respond quickly and effectively to cybersecurity and data privacy events by working with outside consultants including forensic, remediation, and public relations specialists, to formulate a coordinated approach.  He also ensures that clients comply with all individual and/or regulatory reporting obligations that may arise under state law, federal law, or contract from the event.

His prior experience includes defending multinational corporations, healthcare companies and hospitals in data privacy class action litigation and advising clients concerning regulatory compliance with international, federal and state data privacy laws.

Mr. Rick is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Western and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Rick received his B.A., cum laude, from St. Joseph’s University in 2004 and his J.D., magna cum laude, from Duquesne University School of Law in 2009.
