Laura Bertrand is an associate in the firm’s Philadelphia office and a member of the Cybersecurity Breach & Litigation team.  She assists her clients with the challenges that arise from cyber-related incidents including planning the response to an event and working with other experts to formulate a coordinated approach.

Ms. Bertrand is licensed to practice in Illinois and is pursuing her CIPP/US Certification.

She received her B.A. in Business Administration from Mississippi State University in 2022 and her J.D. from Southwestern Law School in 2025.  Ms. Bertrand was Founder and President of the Privacy and Cybersecurity Law Society and Co-Founder & Author of the Privacy & Cybersecurity blog.  She was one of twenty-five students nationwide selected to receive the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), A. Serwin, and DLA Piper Scholarship to attend the Global Privacy Summit.

When not practicing law, she enjoys running and spending time outdoors with her dog, Baylor.
