Mushu Huang

Mushu Huang is an associate in the firm’s Woodbridge, NJ (Metropolitan New York) and Long Island, NY offices.  Her practice includes personal injury litigation involving commercial transportation, maritime, construction accident, premises liability and product liability claims.  She also handles commercial litigation, representing private clients in contract disputes, employment & labor claims, discrimination actions, and financial services.

Mushu Huang is an associate in the firm’s Woodbridge, NJ (Metropolitan New York) and Long Island, NY offices.  Her practice includes personal injury litigation involving commercial transportation, maritime, construction accident, premises liability and product liability claims.  She also handles commercial litigation, representing private clients in contract disputes, employment & labor claims, discrimination actions, and financial services.

Prior to joining Cipriani & Werner, Ms. Huang served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Craig R. Harris of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex Vicinage.  She also worked in the Office of General Counsel at the New York State Department of Financial Services concentrating on cases involving money transmitter insurance fund, gap insurance, bank mergers, bank director removal, bank branch relocation, organization certificate or bylaw amendments, confidential document disclosure, money transmitter licensing, and mortgage loan originator licensing.  Additionally, Ms. Huang externed at the Enforcement Department of Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

She is licensed to practice in New Jersey and New York, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association.

She earned a Bachelor of Laws degree at Sun Yat-sen University in 2013 and a Master of Laws degree in civil and commercial laws at China University of Political Science and Law in 2016.  She passed the Chinese bar exam and obtained the Legal Profession Qualification Certificate of China.  She also attended the U.S. Business Law Academy at Columbia University School of Law as a short-term scholar.  She earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2019, where she was the recipient of the Recognition Award for Outstanding Contribution to Civil Litigation and Practice Clinic.  While in law school, she served as a research assistant, a fellow for the ReNew Federal Reentry Program, and the president of the Asian-Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA).

Ms. Huang speaks English, Mandarin Chinese, and Cantonese.  In her spare time, she is an avid skier and marathoner having run in the Chicago and NYC marathons.
