Nicholas J. Martin is an associate in the firm’s Philadelphia office and focuses his practice on data privacy and cybersecurity law.  Known for his in-depth knowledge of privacy law and for being both detail oriented and diligent, Mr. Martin helps his clients manage the challenges that arise from cyber-related incidents—planning the response to an event and working with other experts to formulate a coordinated approach.  Clients find him easy to work with, solution oriented, and always willing to give a detailed explanation of the issues at hand.

Prior to joining Cipriani & Werner, Mr. Martin was in-house counsel for a global financial communications firm, where he managed the firm’s contracts and its data privacy work.  Before going in house, he was a litigator at a Wall Street firm.

Mr. Martin earned his B.A. from Western Connecticut State University and his J.D. from the Hofstra University Maurice A. Deane School of Law.

An avid golfer and tennis player, Mr. Martin enjoys being outdoors, particularly with his dog, Emily.
