As a member of the Cybersecurity Breach & Litigation practice group, Mr. Son helps clients prepare for a data security breach and navigate it quickly and effectively should such a breach occur.  He provides legal advice to clients to further any regulatory and reporting obligations required by state and federal law.  In addition, Mr. Son guides his clients through post-event analysis and helps direct forensic investigations.

Prior to joining C&W, he represented clients in cybersecurity matters at a Philadelphia area law firm for over 3 years.  Mr. Son also served as a Deputy Attorney General for the Bureau of Consumer Protection at the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General and as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Paul M. Yatron of the Berks County (PA) Court of Common Pleas before entering private practice.

Mr. Son received a Bachelor of Laws from Sungkyunkwan University in South Korea and served as a legal intern with Sony Computer Entertainment Korea after graduation in 2013.  He received his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 2017.  While in law school, he participated in the Securities Arbitration Consumer Law Clinic and was the President of the Korean Law Students Association.

Having lived in four different countries growing up, Mr. Son enjoys traveling to further broaden his cultural experiences and perspectives.
