FROM: CEO and BOARD
TO: C&W Team and Clients
As CIPRIANI & WERNER attorneys and staff begin the process of returning to their offices, several important factors come to mind. First, we never “closed”. While we may have been ordered not to be in our physical offices by the Governors of our respective states, we never stopped working for our clients, protecting our clients’ interests and continued to operate throughout this period. Our attorneys, paralegals and support staff remained 100% available to all of our clients, carriers and third party administrators. Moreover, instead of reducing the size of our workforce or the level of our services, we did the opposite. We retained our workforce and created an entire COVID-19 RESOURCE CENTER for our clients with constant communications, ideas, alerts, insights, suggestions and updates. https://www.c-wlaw.com/covid-19-resource-center.
We also continued our growth with the addition of our Atlanta, Georgia office, which opened on schedule on April 1, 2020. These activities were accomplished because of the tireless efforts of our team, and because of the tremendous loyalty and confidence placed in us by our clients. For more than three decades, our firm has demonstrated the commitment to our clients, and they have returned that during these trying times. We are grateful beyond words, and extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our clients.
While no one could have predicted the pandemic and its impact on our lives, we are proud of the fact that we had the foresight years ago to create a seamless, electronic, virtual plan, which enabled us to prepare for, and immediately respond to, the governmental directives that began in March. We equipped and supported every single attorney, paralegal, secretary and administrator to continue to work and function remotely, from home or wherever they were when the quarantines hit, instantly and without any negative impact on our responsiveness or productivity. Every single employee has the same access to file materials as if they were sitting in our very offices.
While some firms closed, furloughed employees, or reduced staff and attorneys because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we took a different route and added new talent and another regional office to our arsenal. We did this so that as we all emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, CIPRIANI & WERNER will be even stronger and even more prepared to advise and represent our clients in a world that will present a new dynamic with new challenges. While some other firms pressed pause on their businesses, we continued full steam ahead, drafting pleadings, responding to discovery, filing motions, deposing witnesses, reducing clients’ risks and exposures, mediating cases and settling claims. Together, with our clients, we made things happen. We salute all of you who helped to make this possible.
We never closed...
We are still here…
And, we are ready to help you navigate the “new normal”.
