Every year on August 26th, the United States commemorates Women's Equality Day, a pivotal occasion in the ongoing journey towards gender parity and recognition of the incredible contributions women have made throughout history.  This day not only celebrates the achievements of women, but also highlights the work that still needs to be done to achieve full equality.  As we reflect on the progress made so far and the challenges that lie ahead, let us use this day as a catalyst for further action and empowerment.

Women's Equality Day marks the anniversary of the 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution, which granted women the right to vote in 1920.  This monumental achievement was the result of decades of relentless activism, advocacy and resilience by suffragettes and women's rights advocates.  Their determination paved the way for future generations to break barriers, shatter glass ceilings and redefine societal norms.
