As part of our continued investment in the systems, processes, and people that support our clients and attorneys, we are pleased to announce the addition of a new leadership position and welcome Elizabeth Bates as Director of Revenue Integrity and Billing Compliance.

This newly created role underscores the Firm's commitment to responsible billing practices, operational effectiveness, and meeting the evolving requirements of our clients. Working across practice groups, regional offices, and administrative departments, the position helps strengthen processes that promote accuracy, transparency, and efficiency throughout the billing lifecycle.

In this role, Elizabeth will lead the Firm's efforts to advance billing integrity and develop solutions that support both client expectations and attorney productivity. With nearly two decades at C&W, she brings a unique combination of legal, operational, and administrative experience to the position.

Elizabeth began her career with the Firm as a trial paralegal supporting the Medical Malpractice, Workers' Compensation, and General Liability practice groups before serving as Office Manager, where she oversaw a broad range of operational functions, including personnel, technology, and facilities management. Her extensive knowledge of the Firm's operations, combined with her understanding of client billing requirements and legal workflows, provides valuable insight into the intersection of client expectations and day-to-day law firm operations.

Elizabeth will lead the development of initiatives designed to strengthen the Firm's ability to interpret, implement, and comply with client billing and representation guidelines. Working collaboratively with attorneys, practice groups, and the Firm's technology and operations teams, she will help establish processes, training, and technology-enabled solutions that promote consistency, efficiency, and compliance across the Firm. Her work will support alignment with client requirements while enhancing the overall service experience for our clients.
