Once again, Cipriani & Werner participated in the Allegheny County Bar Association Backpack Project to ensure that all kids get basic school supplies to start the new school year. This drive provides approximately 1,500 donated backpacks packed with such important items as notebook paper, pens, pencils, dictionaries, and binders, which are handed out to school children at two local area food pantries in Allegheny County. C&W attorney Rebecca Sember Izsak, a subcommittee member for this project at the ACBA, was joined by C& W law clerks Cyara Powell and Erica Vasquez, and paralegal Lisa Kelley early one Saturday morning to unload the donated supplies and pack the backpacks for later distribution. C&W is proud to participate in this worthwhile community project.
