Cipriani & Werner welcomes Tanya L. Kaplan as its newest associate in the Charleston, West Virginia office. She recently handled and won a successful defense verdict for her client on a compensability issue.

Tanya, a graduate of West Virginia College of Law (May 2013), was admitted to the West Virginia Bar in October 2013 and joined C&W’s Charleston office in November 2013. Prior to, and while attending, law school, Tanya worked part-time as a Federal Black Lung paralegal in Morgantown, West Virginia. Before that, she was a legal assistant for a Workers Compensation practice in North Carolina for two years, and then a legal assistant for a civil litigation law firm in Morgantown, West Virginia. Tanya, originally from New Jersey, currently resides in Charleston, West Virginia.
