Cipriani & Werner, P.C. is pleased to announce that William B. Pentecost, Jr., a partner in the firm’s Pittsburgh office, recently received the 2022 Distinguished Service Award from the Transportation Lawyers Association (TLA) at its Annual Conference in Williamsburg, Virginia.

The award was presented in recognition of Mr. Pentecost’s distinguished and outstanding service to the TLA and in appreciation of his countless hours of unselfish dedication and many contributions to the betterment of the Association.

Mr. Pentecost is the Co-Chair of the firm’s Transportation Law Practice Group.  For more than 25 years, he has concentrated his practice in civil litigation, focusing on transportation law (with an emphasis on catastrophic trucking cases), commercial litigation and product liability cases.

The TLA is an independent bar association, comprised of in-house, government and private practice attorneys.  Its members assist providers and commercial users of domestic and international logistics and transportation services associated with all modes of transportation.
