CIPRIANI & WERNER, P.C. is pleased to announce that James J. Walsh and Sarah M. Gordon have joined the firm as associates and members of the General Liability Practice Group in its Philadelphia office.

Mr. Walsh brings with him significant jury trial, arbitration, and mediation experience and concentrates his practice in general liability defense including premises, auto, and products liability claims; contractor/commercial litigation; and defense of claims involving regulated industries, such as private security and common carriers.  He also represents ski areas/resorts in the defense of claims involving their all-season activities.

Mr. Walsh earned his B.A., cum laude, from the Pennsylvania State University in 2004 and his J.D., cum laude, from Widener University School of Law in 2010.

Ms. Gordon concentrates her practice in general liability matters, including premises and motor vehicle claims, and she also assists clients with employment matters.  She has significant courtroom experience as a result of litigating 100s of jury and bench trials for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office prior to joining C&W.

Ms. Gordon received her B.A. from Hampshire College in 2013 and her J.D. from Boston College Law School in 2016, where she served as a managing editor of the Environmental Affairs Law Review.
