Heather J. Zambelli is the Managing Partner of the firm’s Pittsburgh office. She focuses her practice exclusively on defending employers, insurance carriers and third-party administrators in all workers’ compensation matters.
Ms. Zambelli has significant experience litigating cases before Judges throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and before the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board. Ms. Zambelli regularly presents seminars to clients and prospective clients regarding the most effective and cost-conscious ways to adjust and litigate workers’ compensation claims in Pennsylvania. She is a frequently requested speaker for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and other organizations, including recent presentations at the following events:

Ms. Zambelli is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, West Virginia (inactive) and Ohio (inactive), as well as the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia. She currently serves as Chair of the Allegheny County Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Section.
Ms. Zambelli has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America annually since 2021 in the area of Workers’ Compensation Defense. Inclusion in Best Lawyers is based upon rigorous peer-review evaluations and is considered to be one of the most credible measures of legal integrity and distinction. She was also named to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star list for 2022 and 2023.
Ms. Zambelli received her B.S., cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005 and her J.D., cum laude, from Duquesne University School of Law in 2008, graduating in the top twenty-percent of her class. While attending law school, she was selected for the National Tax Appellate Moot Court team and was a recipient of several scholarships and awards, including the John J. Sciullo Peer Excellency Award, an honor bestowed by her peers for leadership, community service and academic excellence.
