Attorney Nate Hughes Participates in Volunteer Weekend at Camp Soles in Rockwood, PA

Cipriani & Werner Attorney Nate Hughes recently contributed a weekend of his time, along with other volunteers, at Camp Soles in southwestern, PA. The volunteers worked on camp maintenance projects, including restoring the bridge used for hiking, trail and vehicle access to the local lake (Lake Tris).

Camp Soles is a community summer camp that supports parent/child programs that fosters youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The camp suffered from a year of pandemic related closures and financial hardships but was recently rescued by an angel investor, a former camper herself. The camp relies on community support in order to support local families, schools, and groups.

Nate (on the far left in the red shirt) was part of the volunteer group that was responsible for bridge maintenance. That included repairing the bridge decking, as well as scraping, scrubbing, cleaning and painting the bridge substructure. Nate proudly reports that it only took him a week to remove all of the paint and primer splatters from the messy job! Giving back to area camps, and the community, Nate has participated in the Guides and Princess Programs for years with his son, Aiden, and daughter, Emily, and is heavily involved in the Leadership of that program.
