Cipriani & Werner, P.C. is pleased to announce that Paul W. Emigholz has joined the firm as a partner in its Maryland (Metropolitan D.C.) office.  Mr. Emigholz concentrates his practice in representing insurance carriers and employers in workers’ compensation claims before the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission, including appeals.  He also possesses extensive experience regarding workers’ compensation lien recovery via subrogation in Virginia, as well as in consultation with local counsel regarding civil actions filed in North Carolina, Maryland, Massachusetts, West Virginia and Washington, D.C.

Mr. Emigholz received his B.A. from the University of Washington in 1999 and his J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2003.
