John D. Blair is a partner in the firm’s Atlanta office.  He concentrates his practice in civil litigation defense, insurance defense, insurance coverage, employment law including workers’ compensation, and maritime matters.

With over 20 years legal experience, Mr. Blair is an experienced litigator and has represented clients in insurance defense, complex commercial litigation and compliance matters.  He has also consulted with insurers, businesses and employers of all sizes on risk management and compliance issues.

He is admitted to practice in Georgia and Alabama, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Georgia, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Alabama, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.  Mr. Blair is a member of the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association and the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association.

He received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Wright State University in 2002 and his J.D. from Regent University School of Law in 2005.

When he is not practicing law, Mr. Blair enjoys spending time with his family, refinishing antique furniture, hiking, and kayaking, and volunteering.  He serves on the Board of Directors for the Valley Rescue Mission, which serves the Chattahoochee Valley region with its mission of clothing, feeding, and sheltering the hungry and homeless.
