Prior to joining Cipriani & Werner, he worked for another litigation firm in Atlanta for five years. Before entering private practice, Mr. Pittman was an Assistant Attorney General with the Office of the Georgia Attorney General in its Litigation Division and Workers’ Compensation Section where he represented all of the State’s agencies in workers’ compensation claims.
Mr. Pittman has been selected as a Rising Star by Georgia Super Lawyers annually since 2020 in the area of Workers’ Compensation, which recognizes only 2.5% of lawyers in Georgia under the age of 40 based on peer recognition and professional achievement.
Mr. Pittman is licensed to practice law in all courts in Georgia. He has defended and tried numerous cases with successful results including a variety of issues before the State Board of Workers’ Compensation such as catastrophic designation, insurance coverage, and employment issues. He has also handled all aspects of the appeals process in Georgia.
Mr. Pittman received his B.A. from the University of Georgia in 2007 and earned his J.D. from Mercer University in 2013 where he graduated cum laude and was a member of its Law Review.
He lives in Atlanta with his wife Whitney and sons Graham and Gabe.
