George M. Evan is Of Counsel in the Pittsburgh office.  He concentrates his practice in civil litigation with an emphasis on workers' compensation, civil rights, municipal law, insurance law, premises liability, auto liability and contract litigation.

Mr. Evan is certified as a specialist in the practice of workers' compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Workers' Compensation Law Section.

He is a member of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County, as well as the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance, the Pennsylvania Defense Institute and the Defense Research Institute.  He is also a member of the Allegheny County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations.

He received his B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh in 1974 and his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1977.
